This is a sentimental piece for me. It lead me to NYC in my early twenties. The brief was to impress my new employers, Vault49, by creating a colorful vintage racer portrait. I ended up being really experimental, sculpting the head and then chiselling facets to give it a more graphic, illustrated feel.

Adobe approached me to create an illustration for their audio services in Premiere. I created a larger than life sculpture set in a serene natural environment. Once the illustration was delivered, I set myself the task of animating it. I enlisted the help of sound designer, Lieke.

A task in lighting, I wanted to create something that felt real. I did a lot of texture and atmospheric exploration in Cinema4D and World Machine and used the pool reflection as a device to complete the sound wave.
