Psyop

During my time at Psyop, I designed a lot of frames and motion tests. A studio renound for their high production value CG work - I picked up a lot of technical knowledge and learned a lot about how larger studios operate.

My first collaboration with them was for Verizon Fios. The brief was to explore wire sculpture in CG. Thrown in at the deep end, they asked me to create a stop motion test demonstrating an animated wire sculpture. My test to the right was a huge success - the organic imperfect nature of the medium shining through.

Nintendo

Working with Nintendo on Super Mario Maker was a lot of fun. The brief was to bring the digital mario world into the real world, taking official Nintendo models and imagining them in reality. A highlight for me was using Ryan Gosling in 'Drive' as inspiration for the frame a little further down.
